Stoodley Pike Sunset

With plenty of free time over Christmas I’ve been looking over old shoots that I haven’t fully processed. I found some from a session I did about two years ago, in our old home in Todmorden, West Yorkshire.

From our front windows we used to be able to see right across the valley to the range of hills on the other side. They always called to us and it was fabulous walking country. About fifteen minutes walk from the town centre you could be on the pennine tops walking along the edge of the rocky moorland with views up and down Calderdale.

Here are three frames of Stoodley Pike monument as the sun goes down. The monument records Napoleon’s defeat and you can read more about it on Wikipedia.
