You don't have to go far

I went out after dinner the other night to get some sunset pictures. I'd been sitting in the garden eating and the low sun made a beautiful light on next door's tree so I thought - "You're a professional, do your job and take some pictures".

Pre-lockdown, sunset shots meant being in the mountains, and needed planning. Post-lockdown, I'm much more motivated to take local pictures. This small set of four was taken in some fields about half a mile away.

Of course there aren't so many great sunset scenes here, which is, not surprisingly, why I go to the mountains, but this season has been, I think, the first time I've been going out locally at sunset for shooting. Every cloud, etc...
