I've taken a few flower shots indoors, picking some flowers and arranging them in a suitable vase. The results can be very beautiful but it's much harder work. We have few places with good light in our house and the background is also critical. However, I'll keep doing it for as long as the flower season lasts, as long as I can find suitable flowers. Here are some shots showing the most common species in the hedgerows and fields nearby - Red Campion, Buttercups, and Cow Parsley, which are present in great profusion at the moment.
We also have a nice display in our local community orchard. Areas of the grass are left unmown to encourage wildflowers and creep-crawlies and I've been to shoot it a few times.
