Britain has some spectacular coastal scenery. The South West Coast Path around Devon and Cornwall has the most amazingly varied and beautiful scenery imaginable. The remote Lleyn Peninsula of North Wales is a stunningly peaceful area compared to the crowds in nearby Snowdonia. The Arnside and Silverdale areas north of Morecambe Bay have amazing expanses of sand.
